FEMA Assistance Available

FEMA has recognized the level of devastation in the seven Arkansas counties that were devastated by severe storms and tornadoes 11 days ago. The President issued a major disaster declaration today for Conway, Cross, Fulton, Greene, Lawrence, Randolph, and White Counties. Residents and business owners from these counties who suffered damages from the storms are now eligible to apply for federal relief from FEMA.

If you sustained damages in the designated counties, you may apply immediately for relief at or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired. The toll-free numbers are in operation from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (local time) seven days a week. You may also call my office toll-free at 1-800-866-2701 for any additional assistance in applying for federal relief. My staff is working to ensure that all individuals receive the assistance they need for housing and repairs.
